Fall has almost passed.  The leaves have turned, dropped and blown away for the most part.  Fires in David's study are a daily occurrence and we have recently experienced our first, albeit sparce, blanket of snow.  While the Scotsman is still getting used to the heavy winters here, I thrive. 

There is a peacfulness that the white of winter offers me like no other.  The land here is calm and gentle.....until you have to dig out with the snow shovels that is!
